Bulk cleaning, or an address on every page.

A unit is one lookup. Suggest, resolve and retrieve are one unit each; fuzzy matching is three, because it scans rather than seeks. Refused requests are not charged.

You do not have to land on a plan boundary. Overage is priced so that running past a smaller plan is a reasonable place to sit rather than a penalty: 200,000 lookups is $30 on Starter, and only worth moving to Growth somewhere past 400,000. Nothing pushes you up before it saves you money.

What this costs elsewhere

A limit you can plan against

Addressify sells $2,000 and $4,000 a year with no hard call limit. The footnote is where the limit lives: the plans carry an acceptable use policy with an expectation that calls will not significantly exceed 20,000 on any single day, which they put at about 7.3 million a year, spread evenly through the day. Go past it and they may contact you, or suspend the account.

That works out at roughly 608,000 lookups a month, or a quarter of a call a second. Growth costs $79 a month, allows 1,000,000, and bursts to fifty a second. The number is published, it is in the response headers on every request, and running into it costs money rather than an account.

Annual prices divided by twelve, and their own 7.3 million a year at the ceiling the policy describes. Billed monthly here, so there is nothing to commit to a year ahead of knowing whether it works.

Metered, and what the overrun costs

Addressr sells 20,000 lookups for $49 a month and 200,000 for $299, then half a cent for every lookup past that. Half a cent is roughly three times its own included rate, so the bill climbs fastest exactly when a product is growing.

Published list prices at the time of writing, each row the cheapest way to buy that volume on either side.

Questions people ask first

What happens when I run out?
On a paid plan the overrun is billed at the rate above and nothing breaks: cutting off a working integration mid month is worse for both of us than a line on an invoice. On the free plan it stops, because there is no invoice to put it on.
When does the allowance reset?
On your billing date, not the first of the month. Subscribing on the 20th gives you a month, not eleven days.
Can I use it in the browser?
Yes. A public key is limited to the address endpoints and to the sites you list on it, so a key lifted out of your page is worth nothing anywhere else. Server side work uses a secret key.
Is the data current?
G-NAF publishes quarterly and we load every release. Ids are stable across releases for an address that has not changed; when one does retire, the lookup answers 404 rather than quietly returning something else.
Can I cancel?
In the billing portal, any time. The period you have paid for runs out first.
